From the moment the first child crossed our threshold in 1959, the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches has taken pride in providing help and hope to children in need. We are a philanthropic organization relying on the generosity of others to carry out our charitable mission—to prevent delinquency and develop lawful, resilient and productive citizens.
Our Corporate & Community Partners platform was created to help interested companies support us in our mission to serve the needy children of Florida. Community Partners use their organization and reach to help raise awareness abut the mission of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. These Community Partners also serve as an advocate to help reach the families that are in need of services and the donors who wish to invest in the care of the children that we serve.

Johnny Davis, CEO & General Manager, has been affiliated in NASCAR competition for over 27 Years. Beginning as a crew member and fabricator for several (formerly Winston Cup and Busch Series) teams. Won a NASCAR Busch Series Championship with Larry Pearson in 1987. In the early 1990’s Johnny opened a competition Go-Kart shop while also building NASCAR Show Cars. Built the largest model stock car in the U.S. “CARZILLA” put on display at NASCAR Cafe in Las Vegas. Crew Chief in USAR Pro Cup competition. Launched his own NASCAR Busch Series Team in 2002 in Blacksburg, SC. Relocating into a bigger facility in Gaffney, SC. in 2007. The team operates full time in the XFINITY (formerly NATIONWIDE) Series with the No. “01” Team and the No. “4” Team. Johnny and his team are determined to build race teams with character that will paint a professional image and offer cost-effective advertising and marketing programs to sponsors, providing exciting entertainment to our fans, and keeping in mind our ultimate goal: “Winning while Enjoying the Sport”.

After visiting the Boys Ranch location of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches and talking with the children benefiting from the care, Mr. Davis has decided to help where he can, building a culture of giving among his business enterprise and helping to raise awareness for the cause. “They are truly a great organization,” says Davis, “Basically, they are saving kids’ lives. They take in children that are going down the wrong path in life and they help to redirect them and instill them with morals, ethics, and goals.
