The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is a not-for-profit residential childcare and family service agency with a strong, positive image and excellent reputation. It is a nationally recognized, accredited agency with sites throughout the state of Florida. Employees enjoy a good working environment. The agencies multi-million dollar budget supports approximately 200 staff members statewide who work in the service of thousands of youth and their families each year. Programs include Residential Group Child Care, Family Counseling Services, Camping Programs, and other services meeting the diverse needs of Florida’s families.

The Youth Ranches provides excellent benefits for staff including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, eligibility for the public service loan forgiveness program, along with a retirement plan. Certain 24-hr on-campus positions (i.e. cottage parents) have additional benefits such as meals, utilities and housing while on duty.
